Product Description: This is an effective anti aging treatment for dry or mature skin, fine lines, sun damage, acne-prone or oily skin. Glycolic acid helps to smooth rough skin texture, unclog pores and diminish the appearance of large pores and fine lines. Brightens and clarifies complexion beautifully! 1 FL. OZ.
Additional Information:
- Glycolic acid serums can be alternated with other treatment serums. For example, use glycolic serum for a week, then take a break for a week (during which time you can use Alpha Lipoic Acid Lifting Serum or Copper Peptide - CoQ10 Serum).
- If flushing or redness is a problem, avoid spicy foods as they may exacerbate this condition
Instructions: If you are just beginning a glycolic regime, you should follow product instructions carefully. This will allow your skin to adjust gradually to the treatment and to prevent excessive irritation.
After cleansing and toning, apply a very thin layer of serum every other night for two weeks. After two weeks, apply nightly; after one month, may use day and night or as skin condition dictates. Allow several minutes for absorption, then follow with appropriate moisturizer or treatment product for your skin type. Daily use of sunscreen recommended. Use caution when combining with other exfoliating products as this may increase sensitivity. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Slight stinging may occur upon application. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your skincare specialist.
Product Ingredients: Distilled water, pharmaceutical quality glycolic acid, glycerine, aloe vera extract, allantoin, hydroxyethylcellulose, diazolidynyl urea, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate.
This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
