Product Description: An extra strength anti aging treatment for dry or mature skin, fine lines, sun damage, acne-prone or oily skin. Glycolic acid smooths rough skin texture, unclog pores and diminishes the appearance of large pores and fine lines. We also include aloe vera extract and allantoin to further encourage healthy cell renewal. Brightens and clarifies skin beautifully! 1 FL. OZ.
Additional Information:
- Glycolic acid serums can be alternated with other treatment serums. For example, use glycolic serum for a week, then take a break for a week (during which time you can use Alpha Lipoic Acid Lifting Serum or Copper Peptide - CoQ10 Serum).
- If flushing or redness is a problem, avoid spicy foods as they may exacerbate this condition
- For those who haven’t used glycolic products before, try the 10% Glycolic Serum first, then move to the 15% Glycolic Serum as skin condition dictates and / or after 3-6 months.
Instructions: If you are just beginning a glycolic regime, you should follow product instructions carefully. This will allow your skin to adjust gradually to the treatment and to prevent excessive irritation.
After cleansing and toning, apply a very thin layer of serum every other night for two weeks. After two weeks, apply nightly; after one month, may use day and night or as skin condition dictates. Allow several minutes for absorption, then follow with appropriate moisturizer or treatment product for your skin type. Daily use of sunscreen recommended. Use caution when combining with other exfoliating products as this may increase sensitivity. For adult use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Slight stinging may occur upon application. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your skincare specialist.
Product Ingredients: Distilled water, pharmaceutical quality glycolic acid, glycerine, aloe vera extract, allantoin, hydroxyethylcellulose, diazolidynyl urea, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate.
This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
