Product Description: This is a very high potency anti aging Vitamin C serum. It's oil-free and provides a high concentration of Vitamin C and is excellent to supplement the effectiveness of sunscreens, fight free radical damage and lighten skin tone.
Contains:
- L-Ascorbic Acid: Pure form of Vitamin C. Our 20% concentration is optimum strength for age prevention and repairing
- Ascorbyl Polypeptide: Highly stable Vitamin C that allows for maximum penetration
- Licorice Root Extract: Lightens hyperpigmented areas
- Zinc: An antioxidant that alleviates inflammation, promotes healing and lowers sebaceous secretion
Additional Information:
- Vitamin C absorbs into the skin, and can't be washed or rubbed off. It keeps working for 3-4 days after application. This serum is excellent under sunscreens to provide additional antioxidant protection
- Vitamin C is known to trigger the production of collagen and prevent the breakdown of cells due to environmental exposure.
- Topical vitamin C helps speed healing and soothes the skin. This is excellent to use when preparing for peels, IPL or laser treatments, or surgical procedures. It's also great to use 1-2 weeks after a procedure to promote healing (not recommended for use immediately following procedures)
- Vitamin C breaks down melanin. This makes topical Vitamin C products excellent for treating hyperpigmentation and freckling.
Note: The natural color of this product is amber. Avoid product contact with fabrics, including bedding and clothing, as there may be a possibility of staining.
Instructions: A little goes a long way. After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer of serum to face and neck every other day; allow to absorb for a few minutes then apply moisturizer or sunscreen. A slight tingling sensation upon application is normal. Because Vitamin C stays in the skin for several days, daily application is not necessary. Avoid direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your skincare specialist.
